The Cultural Diversity and Social Justice ASPA is hosting an interactive webinar on December 4th, 2014, from 3:00pm-3:30pm EST. Led by Adam Kruse, Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, attendees will discuss some of the social and cultural concerns surrounding the politics of music education scholarship.
This scholarship and grant is available to high school and college students involved in music education and music performance, the international scholarships are provided by several institutions such as Tri M HOnor society
In particular, the conversation will focus on issues of privileged knowledge, marginalization, and alternative publication possibilities.
