The proposal deadline for the 2015 Symposium on Music Teacher Education is coming up fast! There are now less than 60 days to submit proposals by the April 15, 2015 deadline. Be sure to turn in your proposals using the online system as described below.
The 2015 Symposium on Music Teacher Education will be held September 17-19, 2015 at the University of North Carolina – Greensboro. The Call for Proposals is now available on the Symposium website, smte.us/2015. The call encourages submissions focused on the 2015 Symposium theme Toward a Stronger, Richer Community. Proposals related to the work of the ASPAs and other topics in music teacher education are also welcomed. To submit a proposal online, please follow the directions in the Call for Proposals and the accompanying Proposal Submission Form, available on the 2015 Symposium website. Submissions will be accepted through April 15, 2015.
