The nomination process for membership on the Society for Music Teacher Education Executive Board is now open. We will have four openings on the Board for the upcoming six-year term which will begin on July 1, 2024:
- North Central Division Representative (nominee must reside and work in the North Central Division)
- Western Division Representative (nominee must reside and work in the Western Division)
- Communications Chair
- Chair-Elect (the Chair-Elect will serve for two years as Chair-Elect, two years as Chair, and two years as Immediate Past Chair)
The SMTE Board will consider nominations and make recommendations for
officer candidates to the NAfME National Executive Board as described in
the SMTE Handbook and Bylaws.
