The book is based on effective presentations from the 2007 Symposium on Music Teacher Education, which focused on examples of successful partnerships and collaborations between music teacher educators, classroom teachers, school and district administrators, and other individuals and organizations. The Music Teacher Socialization ASPA has posted a new narrative literature review focusing on the transition from music student to music teacher. This is one example of the valuable productivity that is resulting from the work of the ASPAs.
